We had a very nice stay for 1 night.
the staff was very helpful and the place was spotless. the good location was easy walk to corn exchange. the room was a good-sized walk-in rainfall shower where the showered had actually * shock * been cleaned properly and available with quality linen, an ice bucket.

Picturesque place, extremely comfy beds, active staff. Warm and delicious breakfast selection with the usual 1 toaster, hot chocolate and sausages. Stunning location when travelling to Cambridge. Set in a very impressive area just next door to everything-even self service breakfasts, Cambridge. Simply nothing too much trouble, wonderful stay.

Location
The room was clean, but walls and furnishing old fashioned and tattered. I arrived late and woke up without flushing toilet, no water in sink and no shower! The manager was inexperienced and offered little help and little apology. Worst hotel I have stayed at in many years.

pleasant stay but room for improvement
The reception staff provided excellent service and quickly addressed my coffee issue. The breakfast offered a variety of options, which I appreciated, even though I chose to stick to healthier items. The view from my room was lovely and added to the experience.
The room temperature was uncomfortable upon arrival, requiring me to open the window for fresh air.

Location
Lift was erratic. Stayed in room 325 and very noisy from outside overnight. Parking on site was extremely tight for maneouvering - could not get out of parking bay! Access to hotel from underground carpark was locked and nobody answered buzzer so had to walk up the ramp (in the rain)

The noise of the kitchen fans which Sounded into the room during the day until night. Then started up at 3 AM And woke me up, then re started up early in the morning. I complained to reception, I was given another room (Room 100) Only to find the continuous noise of a generator From outside the room buzzing into the room, This continued all night. I have had the lousiest two nights sleep ever in a hotel. Shocking, I will never stay at this hotel again
